Entrepreneurs recognize Mexico's ability to face disasters

ciudadmexfrontTourism experts acknowledged Mexico's ability to recover from crises such as hurricanes and the September 19 earthquake.

The president of the Best Day Travel Group, Julián Balbuena, affirmed that the events occurred in the country were punctual and affected specific regions, reason why they are not catastrophes of world coverage like a war or a terrorist attack.

During the International Tourism Congress "Risks and Challenges before the Mexican Tourism Boom," organized by the National Tourism Business Council and the Anahuac University, said that the country can not assume an attitude of trust, "whenever the tourist is told has to win day by day."

In the tourist perspectives panel, he pointed out that Mexico has an area of ??opportunity to be a safe nation, which is not harassed by extremists, although admitted that it will have to work to improve its image and recover foreign tourists, as well as improving domestic tourism.

On the other hand, the executive director of talent and institutional relations of Aeroméxico, Sergio Allard Barroso, said that the crises caused by natural phenomena do not have greater impact than the one that has to offer a bad image of the country.

He pointed out that the earthquakes that hit Mexico during September were of lower impact, since they were generated in autumn, the lowest season in the tourism sector.

Meanwhile, the general director of transport Grupo ADO, Aldo Alarcón Vargas, pointed out that the sector he represents should be understood as part of the country's development, so he called for improved terminals, as they are the face of Mexico to the world.

The executive said that Mexican passenger transport is one of the best in the world.
