regata showcase vtThe wind festival that took place in Flamingos was a success!

 

Fernando Stalla National Stand Up Paddle Champion, participated in the race and won the first place in the stand up paddle category, for this competition large tables called starships were used, where 5 people entered for each table or team.

The event brought together people from different cities such as Guadalajara, Mexico, Puerto Vallarta, Nayarit United States and Canada among other countries.

There was much excitement and delivery as the teams entering the sea, fought against all odds to compete for the first place, which attendees enjoyed the event.

This event is considered one of the largest and most successful in Latin America, with 226 participants in different categories, the Down wind and long distance competition in which competitors traveled a distance of 3.3 nautical miles on a round trip, departing from Flamingos, to La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.

The wind conditions were appropriate to be able to carry these competitions with great success, as a result of a great organization by the staff of the event, in charge of Francisco Jáuregui, official organizer of the Regatta.
