Bahia de Banderas, Nay. - With the purpose of increasing their abilities, knowledge and awareness of their work team, the DIF office, presided by Monserrat Pena de Gomez, initiated this past Monday the training of the personnel of Casa Hogar “Refugio de Amor”. This is done with the support and direction of Civil Protection and Fire Fighters Services.


The head of this organization, and also responsible for Casa Hogar, Monserrat Pena de Gomez, pointed out the importance to have the necessary knowledge to confront any medical emergency; she thanked the director of Civil Protection and Fire Fighters, Marco Antonio Villegas Gomez, for his willingness to share his knowledge on First Aid.

On the other hand, Marco Antonio Villegas Gomez pointed out that it is of great satisfaction to see how much, institutions such as DIF and Casa Hogar, do their best to guarantee the physical integrity of people, by training its personnel on First Aids.

At the end of the inauguration of the training course, Monserratt Pena de Gomez, congratulated the staff participating in the training, and urged them to, not only prepare themselves to be First Aid providers, but also to share their new knowledge with the communities and among each other, so more people benefit from the training course.

The commander of Civil Protection and Fire Fighters explain that the training that initiated this past Monday and will end Tuesday of next week, covers two phases, the first one being just theory and the other one the practice, which also covers training on fire fighting measures.
