This March 21st a large number of tourists are expected to arrive by sea, air and land.

Starting next Friday, a greater arrival of tourists is expected to take advantage of the "long weekend" corresponding to the month of March, for which there are excellent expectations. This, in a way, will serve as a thermometer for the Holy Week and Easter vacation period, said the head of the Municipal Tourism and Economic Development Department, Ludwig Estrada Virgen. It is important to remember that next Monday 21st (Benito Juarez's Birthday) is contemplated as a day off, so that there will be three days of rest (Saturday, Sunday and Monday), however, since the previous day an increase in the flow of visitors is usually registered. The official recalled that last February achieved very good results, which even exceeded expectations, "it was very good for the destination because it generated great economic revenue in general, there were new flights and also 20 cruise ship arrivals".

Estrada Virgen added that 23 cruise ship arrivals are scheduled for this month of March, a high number of flights will be maintained with very good occupancy. "This 'bridge' will bring together both national and international tourism, many people will travel by plane and others by road to this city, which anticipates that we will have a high hotel occupancy, even with several establishments at one hundred percent". GOOD TOURIST MOMENT He pointed out that Puerto Vallarta is going through a good moment, with the economic situation in full recovery, still in a period of pandemic, and surely with the massive arrival of tourists the Malecon area and, in general, the tourist strip will register intense movement. The director of Municipal Tourism emphasized that the staff under his command is preparing for the occasion and also made a call to the tourist community of the destination to contribute so that visitors take away a great experience. "We are already working towards the month of April, when the Holy Week and Easter holidays will take place, so that we will also have a very good occupancy".
