With more than 40 producers from all over the country

This Thursday was inaugurated the Puerto Vallarta Wine and Pairing Festival, an event that counts with the presence of more than 40 producers from all over the country, in addition to sommeliers, chefs and winemakers, a space accessible to all the public to celebrate the wine culture in this tourist destination. Inaugurating the also called VINOMA FEST at the Gastronomy School Estación Gourmet of the University of Guadalajara, the director of Tourism and Economic Development of the municipality, Ludwig Estrada Virgen, stressed that these types of events contribute to the destination's positioning both nationally and internationally. "They show that it is fertile ground to consolidate a broad and versatile market not only for services, but also for high quality products from our Mexican lands." He highlighted that the Mexican wine sector has grown considerably and is growing to take quality to a supreme level and consolidate the already growing acquisition of medals that highlight us in this area.

"I recognize the producers for staying in this noble and fruitful industry, preserving traditions and also innovating in this select market. Wine tourism with visits to wineries, the enjoyment of the majestic landscapes of vineyards and winemaking spaces have gained ground and generate economic development." The event's program will last until Sunday the 20th and includes the congress "The Land of the New World", workshops, talks with sommeliers, chefs and winemakers at the School of Gastronomy, and a tasting of Mexican wines and a culinary exhibition in Puerto Mágico.
