First day in six months with no infections or deaths by the coronavirus.
With the measures taken by Jalisco's authorities when they pressed the emergency button, due to the increase of cases of coronavirus in the municipalities of the state of Jalisco, the activities continued their normal rhythm, without suffering affectations in the tourist sectors, and if they decreased gradually this weekend the infections in this tourist destination.
This Friday the reception of the weapons command of the Eighth Naval Zone of Puerto Vallarta was held by agreement of the high command of the Mexican Navy, this as part of the permanent rotation of personnel and with the purpose of the Secretary of the Navy of Mexico continuing with the fulfillment of its mission and attributions.
The only one to dock is the Star Princess, with 201 crew members, for which the main port authorities were requested and will depart today in the afternoon.
The other two cruises, the Grand Princess and the Koningsdam, with 276 and 1,086 crew members, respectively, will remain only in the anchoring area, waiting for authorization to be able to carry out, in this area, the transfer of people from one cruise ship to another, so that one of them can transfer them to their places of origin.
Without the three cruise ships reporting passengers on board, the health authorities continue to apply the established protocols and sanitary measures.
