They will hold an international meeting at the Convention Center
For the first time members of the Heavy Oil Latin America will meet in a destination of the Mexican Pacific
Next September, 900 businessmen and ministers of the oil industry members of the Heavy Oil Latin America (HOLA) will meet at the International Convention Center of Puerto Vallarta.
This was reported by Patricia Farías Barlow, general manager of the Convention Center of this city, who noted that "it is the first time that employers and oil ministers meet in the region of the Pacific coast. This is a global event for which we have fought for four years", she said.
She said that this meeting of worldwide oilmen is just as important or more so than the Tianguis Turistico held two years ago in Puerto Vallarta.
"Nine hundred entrepreneurs are gathered here from the oil industry, energy ministers from the South American countries that have demonstrated success in the production and management of their non-renewable energy resources".
The event is international, it annually moves from one country to another, and in Mexico, all of them have been organized in the states of the Gulf of Mexico, said Patricia Farías.
"The HOLA meeting for this year, was originally scheduled for Cancun, but for the past four years we have worked to bring it to Puerto Vallarta and we have succeeded," she said.
She estimated that the presence of 900 businessmen and ministers of the oil industry is an advertising "plus" for Puerto Vallarta, due to the wide dissemination that is going to occur in the presence of the media coming to this destination.
The huge amount of information that is going to be produced at times in which Mexico decides to make reforms that are signed in the "Pact for Mexico" promoted by the government of President Enrique Peña Nieto.
The major topics that will be covered will also attract a lot of media from around the world to Puerto Vallarta. It is a commitment of local and state authorities, to present a city that is clean, friendly, safe and connected with roads that show that this destination is one of the best of Mexico.
Asked about the subject, the president of the Coparmex, Arnulfo Ortega pointed out that everyone is working so that employers and oil ministers leave with a good impression of Puerto Vallarta.
He said that it is the first major event after the Tianguis Turistico. More events of this nature should be brought here.
