Puerto Vallarta is Promoted with Businessmen from the National Coparmex

Through the platform conformed by more than 36 thousand businessmen affiliated to the Employers Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex), the destination events will be disseminated, as well as promotions and discounts of the Puerto Vallarta companies, informed the national councilor of the organism, Mrs. Margarita Ortiz Muñoz.

 It was on last June 13th when Ortiz Muñoz was notified about the invitation from the president of the national commission of Tourism Roberto Zapata Llabrés, to participate as vice-president of Connection with Business Centers.

 Who with respect to that matter precised that within the strategy to strengthen the Tourism Commission, they have decided to create at least three vice-presidencies, which will allow them to have a more efficient follow up and results driven towards the commission members and Coparmex shareholders.

 He pointed out that the vice-presidency led by Mago Ortiz within the Tourism Commission, will be fundamental to support the local tourism commissions and to create spaces in the Enterprise Centers which don't have them yet, but who have a clear touristic vocation.

 On her behalf, Mago Ortiz pointed out that through the platform of the enterprise centers of the country, a monthly bulletin will be broadcasted from the national commission of Tourism and without a doubt, the unionized members of this employer body, both in Puerto Vallarta and in the Riviera Nayarit, will be able to promote their offers.

“Monthly, the promotions of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit of all the events that are made in this region, will permeate at a national level with 36 thousand businessmen affiliated to the Coparmex”

 Likewise, she recognized the work of the president of the Coparmex Puerto Vallarta-Bahía de Banderas, Arnulfo Ortega Contreras, for contributing to this effort of promoting the destination.

 On the next June 28th, the president of the local tourism commission of the Coparmex, Gloria Peña, will participate in the Workshop to Diagnose the Tourism of Meetings, which will take place in the Expo Guadalajara and is convened by the Federal Ministry of Tourism (Sectur).

  In this workshop there will be work-groups of topics such as training, professionalization, certification and university education, the promotion and marketing of tourism facilities, requirements for specialized information and statistics on this segment, among other topics.
