showcaseWelcome Spring in Celtic Style

For the first time, we will have the great pleasure of admiring a series of very unusual shows in this tropical region: THE GRAND LAUNCH of the 1st International Celtic Music Festival in Mexico, which will take place starting in 2015, choosing our beautiful city of Puerto Vallarta as their permanent venue.

That’s right, on March 21st and 22nd we will enjoy throughout different places on the port, the cultural expressions originated in the Celtic nations, such as the British Isles (Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Ireland), Brittany and Spain (Galicia and Asturias).

The opening event will begin on Friday 21st at 18:00 with a dazzling parade on the boardwalk with the participation, in their elegant and colorful uniforms, the St. Patrick's Battalion Pipe Band (Mexico), Edmonton Transit Pipe Band (Canadá) y the Cultural Association of Galicia in México (Galicia, Mexico).

At the end of the parade, they will offer a free concert in the auditorium of the Arcos del Malecón. The celebration will continue with a night tour (Pub Crawl) which will visit several bars, starting and ending at a popular bar in town (Señor Frogs).

The grand party continues on Saturday 22nd at the Gaviotas Courtyard of the Sheraton Hotel with a series of concerts including the participation of Alba's Edge, St. Patrick's Battalion Pipe Band, Edmonton Transit Pipe Band, the Cultural Association of Galicia in México, Ogham Ensemble, Bradigan Irish Dance School and Shamroch.
