Below are the events happening during the International Fireworks Festival in Puerto Vallarta, 2014. 

With a budget of more than seven million, the city will be part of the international festival circuit, which Mexico had not been involved before; like San Sebastian; Berlin World Championship of Fireworks or Fireworks Competition of the Costa Brava in Barcelona. A resounding success is predicted, which will make the festival an annual event

Sergio Zepeda, director of Holistic Institute of Culture, said that was raised to the House of Representatives, hoteliers and merchants, the need for an annual, attractive, and culturally sustainable tourism event, which generate jobs and added a bonus to the holiday destination.

The result was positive because the International Fireworks Festival will promote the worldwide port with support from the Ministry of Tourism; National Council for Culture and the Arts; the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation; Hoteliers Association and the Municipal Government

Fireworks will be launched from Municipal Stadium, the Los Muertos Pier, and Peninsula, with musical and theatrical performances located at Teatro, Municipal Stadium, and Hidalgo Park. The location of the main events and fireworks makes the Puerto Vallarta Malecón the most central location to enjoy all the festivities.
