The cast of the soap opera Mi Corazón es Tuyo, produced by Juan Osorio, shot chapter 149—titled “¡Tan inmenso como el mar!”—on the beaches of Nuevo Vallarta at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit hotel.
Producer Juan Osorio became interested in shooting part of the top-grossing Televisa soap opera, Mi Corazón es Tuyo, on the beaches of Mexico’s Pacific Treasure thanks to the domestic positioning of the Riviera Nayarit.
Approximately 10 soap opera actors arrived in Nuevo Vallarta on January 18th and taped both on the beach and on-site in the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit hotel through their departure date on January 21st.
The images were aired on the small screen on January 22nd in chapter 149, titled “¡Tan inmenso como el mar!” (“Wider than the deep blue sea!”)
The implicit advertising for the destination is very high, as the soap opera is aired on the TV station’s prime time hour. The actors also published distinctive pictures and comments on social media during their stay.
Traditional media such as Reforma and Hola.com have published posts on the event, and the information has also circulated throughout the regional media.
These situations come about thanks to the great positioning the destination has obtained through the work of the Riviera Nayarit Convention and Visitors Bureau in collaboration with the State Government, the coastal city councils and the Federal Government.
