TORONTO — Air Canada Vacations is increasing capacity from Western Canada with additional frequencies to destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean.
A larger aircraft and added flights have been added on the Vancouver-Cancun and Vancouver-Puerto Vallarta routes. Extra capacity has also been added to service between Vancouver-Ixtapa and Vancouver-Los Cabos. All of these routes are operated by Air Canada Rouge.
ACV’s 2016-2017 flight schedule to Mexico and the Caribbean also includes service between Winnipeg-Montego Bay and Cancun, and Calgary-Cancun and Puerto Vallarta onboard Air Canada mainline. Connectors from 64 cities across Canada are also available.
“Air Canada Vacations’ ability to add extra frequencies and capacity from Western Canada has allowed us to strengthen our package offering and seamlessly connect more of our clients to popular destinations down south,” said Nino Montagnese, Managing Director, Sun Markets, Air Canada Vacations. “This is just the start of our growth in Western Canada. We will continue to increase operations on popular routes, add new service and expand our product line to offer our travel agent partners and their clients’ unmatched options.”
The Spotlight Collection is one example of the exclusive programs offered by ACV. Spotlight includes a selection of the tour operator’s most popular resorts that offer a variety of exclusive perks such as extra à la carte dining, superior in-room amenities, bonus Aeroplan® Miles and other VIP services.
A reminder to agents and travellers that this month only, clients who book a minimum seven-night package to any of these destinations will receive one week of free parking at Park’N Fly locations across Canada.
