Arrived Thursday at the marine terminal with only 1,675 passengers and 1,708 crew members

The coronavirus pandemic forced the shipping company Norwegian Cruise Line to operate one of its largest cruise ships at only one fourth of its capacity, which is almost 5 thousand passengers. This Thursday, the international cruise ship Norwegian Bliss arrived at the local maritime terminal with 1,675 passengers and 1,708 crew members. The ship arrived to this region of the Bay of Banderas at 6 o'clock in the morning and departed at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, so that it remained nine hours docked at the port. During this time, the passengers that disembarked -about 80 percent- had the opportunity to visit some areas of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit. Estimates of the Administration of the National Port System of Puerto Vallarta (formerly API Vallarta) point out that the passengers who disembarked from the ship -about 1,3040 tourists-, could have left in the companies, businesses, stores and tourist services of the region around 3 million 216 thousand pesos. The international cruise ship Norwegian Bliss arrived from Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala, and set sail for Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur.

TWO DOUBLE ARRIVALS NEXT WEEK For next week, the arrival schedule of the National Port System Administration of Puerto Vallarta foresees the arrival of a total of 6 more international cruise ships. According to the schedule, the local maritime terminal would be receiving two single arrivals on Tuesday and Friday, as well as two double arrivals on Wednesday and Thursday of next week, which would be practically the last of the month of February in terms of international cruises in this region of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit.
