Before Nick Viall got down on one knee and proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi and Rachel Lindsay became the first black Bachelorette, Bachelor Nation fans were already planning their Bachelor in Paradise viewing parties.
Bringing together contestants from past seasons, the reality dating competition takes the roses to the beach and promises more than one happy couple by the end of the summer.
Now in its fourth season, viewers were definitely not prepared when a sex scandal rocked paradise and halted filming for 10 days.
Following an investigation, Warner Bros. released a statement, saying, "We can say, however, that the tape does not support any charge of misconduct by a cast member. Nor does the tape show, contrary to many press reports, that the safety of any cast member was ever in jeopardy. Production on this season of Bachelor in Paradise will be resuming, and we plan to implement certain changes to the show’s policies and procedures to enhance and further ensure the safety and security of all participants.”
