OphthalmologistfrontOphthalmology Institute Foundation of Private Assistance Conde de Valenciana, provides free care to those affected by recent earthquakes in different regions of the country.

In this way, the institute joins the cause in favor of the Mexican people by opening the doors of its facilities 24 hours a day and offering ophthalmological attention through brigades distributed in different areas.

The damage presented at its facilities after the earthquake has been evaluated by a specialized company and certified in structural safety assessment, so the integrity and safety of staff and patients are guaranteed, UNAM Global reported.

In Mexico, there are few places that treat ophthalmological problems in an assistance manner, as does the Institute of Ophthalmology, an institution that attends 300 thousand annual visits regardless of social status and economic capacity.

Ophthalmology Institute Foundation of Private Assistance Conde de Valenciana, which is affiliated with the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM, for its acronym in Spanish), to train medical ophthalmologists and teaches undergraduate, postgraduate, master's and doctoral degrees in medical sciences related to vision, has its facilities in Chimalpopoca 14 and Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas, Mexico.
