Several works are finished in different parts of the city
In order to continue modernizing the municipality's water and sewage infrastructure, the Puerto Vallarta Potable Water, Drainage and Sewerage System (SEAPAL) completed the rehabilitation of the Education subcollector on Politécnico Nacional Avenue, which in this stage was intervened between Tecnológico Street and the CFE Electric Substation.
This Thursday, November 24, the asphalt layer was replaced in the last pending section, between Tecnológico and La Troza streets, in addition to cleaning tasks, which will continue this Friday until the area is left in the best conditions.
With this, since Thursday night, the restrictions to vehicular circulation that were intermittently present during the work process were eliminated.
The works included the rehabilitation of the 20-inch diameter sanitary drainage pipe in that section, which collects by gravity the wastewater from several neighborhoods, to take it to the Cárcamo Educación and this in turn incorporates it by pumping it to the Colector Centro - Norte, for its subsequent sanitation in the Treatment Plant Norte II.
This is another work completed by the agency, as part of its commitment to continue improving the quality of the basic services it provides to Vallarta's families, a precise indication of Professor Luis Alberto Michel Rodríguez and a priority for the general director, Jorge Alberto Castillo Núñez.
MORE WORKS COMPLETED
It is worth remembering that last Wednesday SEAPAL Vallarta repaired a section of the roadway on Francisco Villa Avenue, between Berlin and Lisboa, in the La Vena neighborhood, works that are a fundamental part of the activities following the repair of the water and sewage lines.
As this is one of the main arteries of the municipality, a quick intervention was carried out for the application of hydraulic concrete, with the purpose of mitigating the effects on the mobility of Vallartenses.
After these works, steel plates were placed to reopen to vehicular circulation during Wednesday afternoon, which will protect the concrete setting process for 24 hours and thus protect the finished product from traffic.
It should be noted that at this point, the crews of the Wastewater Collection Department recently carried out the timely repair of a sanitary pipe, in order to prevent sewage spills and their consequent effects.
The mandate of the municipal president, Professor Luis Alberto Michel Rodríguez, as well as of the general director, Jorge Alberto Castillo Núñez, is to undertake quality processes and leave the road with the characteristics that were found before the leak, or even better.
