DIF Receives a Donation from Vallarta Shores for Nursing Home

El Cayan of Coapinole, the nursing home operated by the DIF receives a generous donation from the owners of Vallarta Shores.

This Wednesday, February 21, the President of the Integral Development System (DIF), Professor Candelaria Tovar de Davalos, accompanied by the Director of the DIF, David de la Rosa Flores, and Andrea Muñoz, Secretary of the President of the DIF, attended a meeting at the facilities of the Vallarta Shores hotel in Puerto Vallarta, to receive from Daniel Gonzalez, General Manager of the resort, a check donation for the DIF. The funds will be destined for the rehabilitation of the municipal nursing home, El Cayan (Care Center for the Elderly) of Coapinole in the delegation of Pitillal.

In the same way, we support vulnerable people when their homes are burned or whose needs they present: with medicine, furniture and food. We have besides the nursing home, a shelter, a rehabilitation clinic that we started in March, and we are working thanks to people like Martha and her husband who have a great heart and who have supported us and who thanks to this support have been able to take out this works and reconstructions for the people most in need".
