Puerto Vallarta, Jal. - On Thursday December 11 council workers in Puerto Vallarta participated in the traditional Guadalupe pilgrimage that takes place in this city and in which pilgrims express their faith and grateful for the blessings received during the year through songs, dances, prayers, flowers and offerings.
The contingent was led by Ramón Guerrero, mayor of Puerto Vallarta and his wife Ada Vidal Cabrera. Besides the CEO of Social Development, Arturo Peña Davalos; Guadalupe Anaya aldermen, Candelaria Villanueva Sánchez, Doris Aguilar Ponce, Luis Gonzalez Munguia, Othniel Barragan and Javier Pelayo Espinoza; and the Secretary General, Victor Manuel Bernal Vargas and municipal trustee, Roberto Castillo Ascencio.
Upon arrival in the parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the officiating priest welcomed hundreds of municipal officials, who invited them to continue the important work of serving the citizens and make it committed to Puerto Vallarta, thinking common good, while also thanked the facilities the government has provided for safe development of this traditional celebration that attracts thousands of locals and visitors from neighboring municipalities.
