Resumes film screenings after temporary closure
On January 18, 2022, CineClub El Muégano in the Los Mangos Library closed its doors due to the increase of Covid-19 cases in the city.
Beginning February 2 of this year, screenings return, presenting the film SPENCER, a biopic about Lady Diana, Princess of Wales. The screenings will take place at the Los Mangos Library, located at Av. Francisco Villa Av. 1001, Las Gaviotas, in Puerto Vallarta, Jal.
In the month of February, Wednesdays will be screened the #CicloEllasHablan, female stories told through the screen and on Fridays we will show great films that were suspended during the temporary closure will be shown on Fridays.
Days of screenings
"On Mondays the classic movies are shown and the attendees are usually older people, as a precaution and because we are still in the contingency, on Mondays we decided to wait...Only in February the shows will be on Wednesdays and Fridays, Mondays will be suspended, but from March onwards the shows will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays again at 7:00 pm". - Explained Gloria Gutiérrez who is a participant in the coordination of CineClub Muégano
Sanitary safety measures
In order to use the facilities of the Los Mangos Library, it is mandatory to wear a mask during the entire stay, as mentioned by the coordinator "I hope that in March everything will be back to normal and we will be able to bring our popcorn or buy them here or whatever you like to enjoy, at regular times we can comfortably seat 30 to 50 peopleand right now we are receiving between 15 and 20 people because of the healthy distance".
