With over 5,000 attendees, the "Ceviche and Aguachile Festival" took place in Puerto Vallarta.
During the festival, the Centro Cultural Vallartense (CCV) showcased their project called "Crazy Cocos," which left a lasting impression on the people of Vallarta due to its deep roots, beachy style, and variety of vegan options.
The primary goal of Centro Cultural Vallartense is to preserve the most important symbols of Puerto Vallarta's mother culture. Through in-depth anthropological research, they have uncovered the semiotics of Vallarta's life and aim to creatively represent it in every piece of art and product they produce, depicting the essence of Puerto Vallarta's lifestyle through paintings, photographs, installations, food, and more.
The "Ceviche and Aguachile Festival" was held on July 29th, running from 10 am to 8 pm, and was received with great joy. Live music entertained the crowd, and there were numerous options to taste various types of ceviches and aguachiles. The event was supported by the Municipality and the Chamber of Commerce in Puerto Vallarta, contributing to its success as a gastronomic festival that brought together numerous restaurant businesses to promote and contribute to their growth and development as family-oriented establishments.
The specialty of Centro Cultural Vallartense was the "Crazy Coco Vegan Ceviche," which involved filling a freshly cut coconut with watermelon, onions, and various fruits, along with coconut flesh seasoned with "Chile Piquín" and other flavorful liquid chilies.
